To Friendship!

A wonderful German friend (who I have only known a year

but feel like I have known forever) is staying and has

taught me so many lessons in life.

I have always admired her tenacity, judiciousness

and open spirit ( she has travelled to Yemen alone twice).

She has travelled extensively from an early age

and has reminded me of the simple pleasures of friendship.

To openly accept each other as souls in orbit, together

on earth for a while and forever bonded in ‘sameness‘.

She speaks to everyone . . . no matter their age,

rank or status, with no ‘hidden agenda’.

She embraces life with such abundance.

We have laughed and laughed and laughed!

A moment of stillness and many, many memories to relish!

What a wonderful spirit!

Thank you friend.  .  .

you know who you are!!

Cyber Bullying is Abuse

Cyber Bullying is Abuse

This site offers a really comprehensive and simple poster on ‘cyber bullying’ for anyone using the Internet and Facebook.  A ‘must’ for parents with young children who have their own FB accounts.  Thank you Jane, my lovely Australian friend, now living in Dublin!  I miss you.
